Attitudes of University Professors towards Distance Education during the COVID-19 Pandemic

Abstract Introduction: With the spread of COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to study attitudes university professors towards distance education during home-quarantine period. Methods: The sample included 426 from 37 universities across country. used questionnaire as a tool collect information, based on electronic distribution. Besides, descriptive method was analyse results. Results: Findings revealed positive trends among learning In addition, results indicated that can be adopted by both sexes without any additional special features. Moreover, finding demonstrated with non-significant differences concerning their speciality. It means professors’ speciality not hindrance in process. Furthermore, suggested could one promising pedagogical technologies for higher Algeria. Discussion: We conclude is good alternative classic traditional system. Also, it facilitates training and qualification process student. have attitude gender academic do affect use learning. Limitations: are only regionally generalisable because data were collected Conclusions: Distance these current circumstances.
